research 1

These are other people's portfolio's I looked at to get ideas and see what others do for their portfolios.

While I'd prefer my portfolio to be a bit fancier than this one, I really like the simplicity. Plus his work is really nice so that also makes it good.

This one isn't a portfolio but it has tips on graphic design portfolios that seemed good to me.

This one I reference simply because I don't like it. It took me a bit to actually find her works because that top "banner" is so large it takes up most of the screen but all the real info is below that.

What I really love with this site is how the works are displayed.

Flash:

I really like this portfolio and it's very interactive which is how I want mine. I really love the book that lets you turn the pages to see his different work. Also, the game system and the place where you have to insert the dollar bill are just fun and playful.

This is another very cool looking and interactive flash portfolio however it has horrible load times, something I'm going to need to think about.

I like how during loading there is that spotlight effect over the site, though I do wish there was more to look at using that light. The giant ball that contains all his work is also really cool. I especially like how the works fly out of the giant ball when you select the filters.

I really how the cubes are used to show different images of the same thing and how you can turn them to see all the images.
